Open Source CCXML Interpreters

Filed under: — RJ Auburn @ 2:26 am

I was browsing the web last night looking at the status of the different open source CCXML interpreters and one thing I noticed is that I am not sure that people are aware of all of the options in this space:

On the asterisk side there is some work being done to connect CCXML to asterisk using jasterisk. jAsterisk is a set of java bindings for the asterisk open source PBX.

Another option is the oktopous ccxml project that is a C++ interpreter.

And last on my list is the CCXML4J project that is a CCXML interpreter written in the Java programming language.

If you are looking for a commercially supported CCXML platform Voxeo offers our VoiceCenter IVR platform that has full support for the CCXML specification. We also offer our CCXML Engine that is a C++ CCXML interpreter available to OEM’s on very flexible commercial licensing terms who want a commercially proven CCXML interpreter that has handled hundreds of millions of calls.
