About
Info about RJ Auburn
I am the CTO of Voxeo Corporation where I am responsible for setting the technology direction of the company along with leading up the design and implementation of the Voxeo VoiceCenter platform that includes our CCXML soft-switch and our VoiceXML browser.
Previous to Voxeo I was a Senior Consultant for Quality Call Solutions and was responsible for managing the support and installation of the company products and services. We offered a number of products and services including CTI servers, custom IVR development and call center consulting.
I am also the Chair of the W3C’s Call Control Subgroup (Part of the Voice Browser Working Group) and am the Editor in Chief of the CCXML 1.0 specification.
I am currently working on the W3C’s next generation dialog language (code named V3) that is currently based on the dialog model of VoiceXML 2.0 combined with the flexible
state machine architecture from CCXML.
I routinely speak at conferences about VoiceXML and Call Control and have written articles for the VoiceXML Forum about CCXML.
My wife April and I have one daughter named Anna-Teresa who was born on November 25th 2001. Our family blog is located at http://www.auburnfreaks.com
